There are 2 guided tours a day at 11am and 3.30pm.
Each tour will only take a maximum of 36 people.
Our tours are often sold out, so we encourage pre-bookings online.
Come in and immerse yourself in the architecture and history of iconic The Blue Mansion, one of George Town’s most lauded architectural gems. Our trained guides will provide comprehensive insight into how the mansion came to be, its heritage, and the man whose vision brought this grand home to fruition.
Covering the reception hall, the famed courtyard and the museum exhibition on the second floor, the tour will take 45 minutes in total.
Please note that in order to guard the privacy of our hotel guests, only some parts of the mansion are accessible during the tour, but we do encourage guests to experience different facets of The Blue Mansion through staying with us, having a classic cocktail at the bar, or enjoying a meal at our restaurant –Â Indigo.
A must see if you want to experience an important part of Penang’s colourful history and one of its most iconic pieces of architecture..
Tour Times and Entrance FeesÂ
Tours are available DAILY at
11:00am, 2:00pm and 3:30pm
Duration: 45 minutes.
RM25 per adult and RM12.50 per child under 12 years.
Alternatively, you may queue and buy tickets at the gate 15 mins prior to each tour but please be aware that the tour is popular and there are size limitations to each tour, thus we cannot guarantee that there will be space.
Tours are conducted in English, however, we also offer tours in Mandarin, Japanese and other languages with prior arrangement. Special tours can also be organized for private groups and organizations. To ensure the mansion is able to sustain itself, we would like to inform visitors that the mansion also operates as a hotel & restaurant. For this reason, some parts of the mansion are only accessible by guests.
